The Boules D'Hiver, new Winter league has been established as open to all players, Pétanque England registered, club members or not....anyone can enter (and at just £20 per team for the whole season).

To be played on (some) Sundays from 11am.

The various venues are planned to be in and around Bath, to ease the difficulties of travelling long distance (but teams/players may come from anywhere).

It's primarily a doubles competition, but for those teams who would particularly like to play as a triple (3 players, 2 boules each) that's also allowed.

Just the team name will be registered, so a broad squad of players can be used from meet to meet or during any one round.

Sponsored by the local Marden Roofing Company, there's considerable prize money to be won.

This is a non-profit making competition.
