The Bath Grand Cru Pétanque Club was established in 2012.

We are a unique club with a number of playing venues across Bath – Lansdown Cricket Club, Alice Park, Sydney Gardens and Queen Square.

We currently have around 40 members and we are a friendly, fun and sociable mix of experienced and beginner players, as well as a diverse range of ages and genders.

As a club, we actively participate in various local and regional leagues, as well as regional, national and international competitions. Additionally, we are proud to have three highly qualified and experienced coaches on our team.

We are members of the Bath - Aix-en-Provence Twinning Association and Bath - Alkmaar Twinning Association. We have developed strong links with local pétanque clubs in both regions, visiting regularly for Club Tours.

As a club we are affiliated to Pétanque England.

Pétanque England is the national governing body for the sport and is officially recognised by Sport England and UK Sport. It has 18 regions and Bath Grand Cru is a member of the Great Western region.
